1) I still get that nervous, heart beating fast, butterflies in the stomach, don’t want to look you in the eye, is it just me or am I totally yelling, feeling when I tell people that I’m not straight. Like, I try to say “I’m bi” or “I like girls” like it’s a normal thing, but I know it’s not, so it comes out sounding either defensive or apologetic.

2) In a matter of days, I’m about to get up in front of a room of college-aged people and announce to all of them “Hi, I’m Sienna, and I’m bisexual…or something,” and although a lot of them will probably know this already, a lot of them won’t. And either way, a lot of them will probably think it’s weird.

3) Because of this, I have the potential to either open myself up to people and educate them a little bit about something they don’t know much about, or totally humiliate myself. I’m pretty positive that it will be the former, rather than the latter, but I’m still a little worried about it.

I don’t usually post personal stuff like this on Tumblr, or anywhere on the internet really, but I kind of felt like I needed to put this in writing and share it with people…not sure why, but there you go. Enjoy. Or don’t.
